Find the Perfect Gift with United Way's Holiday Giving Catalog!

Tomorrow is the first Tuesday in December, and what has affectionately been dubbed Giving Tuesday in recent years. Following up the infamous Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and year-end giving.
United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd is participating in Giving Tuesday this year by launching a Holiday Giving Catalog on December 1st. This Holiday Season, you can choose to support a local New River Valley organization by making a gift in a family member or friend's honor. The individual you make a gift for will be sent a handmade holiday card informing them of what the gift is, the impact it will have in our community, and thanking them for the gift made on their behalf. It’s a simple way to purchase something meaningful for a friend or family member while helping the less fortunate in our community.
Simply go online to for a full listing of the different gifts that you can make and the organizations that you can support this holiday season. Gift pricing ranges from $15-$350 and encompasses a wide range of charitable options such as; a week of meals for a homebound individual, a full mouth hygiene treatment for a child, or a month of shelter, meals, and resources for a local homeless man. The Giving Catalog will be open to purchase items throughout the holiday season, but gifts need to be purchased by December 18th to ensure the holiday card reaches the intended recipient before the end of the year.
For more information on the catalog, our partner agencies, or our work in the New River Valley, please visit or call our office at 540-381-2066. This Holiday Season, choose to give a meaningful, local gift that will be sure to bring a smile to someone’s face!
