Sara Bohn
Executive Director 

Sara joined the United Way team in 2020. She is the chief professional officer of the organization working with staff, board of directors, volunteers, and the community to execute United Way's mission. Sara works hand- on in all areas of the organization and guides the UWNRV staff. Sara is higly engaged in our community as a  a business leader, financial planner, politician, and non-profit executive. an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, and an MBA from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute.

Sara lives in Montgomery County with her husband. When not working, she enjoys volunteering her time, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Lois Moorefield Davis
Business Manager
Lois joined the United Way team in 2012. She is primarily responsible for the financial end of our operations concentrating on donations, designations, accounts payable and receivable, pledge processing, and general operations. Before coming to United Way, Lois worked at New River Community College in the Office of Transitional Programs teaching and counseling GED students, at risk young adults, and individuals who were or had been in foster care. She received her degree in Education from Virginia Tech.

Lois enjoys volunteering. Some of her volunteering endeavors include Relay for Life Activities Chair and 20+ years in various positions with the Boy Scouts of America. Lois is an avid Hokie, enjoys cross stitch, Claytor Lake, and most outdoor activities. Lois lives in Dublin with her husband, Ron Davis. They have one son, Ronald Davis who is a student at Virginia Tech.
Marcela Jara-Radlbeck
Community Engagement Director
Marcela is our Programs Manager, responsible for community assistance through information and referrals.  She coordinates the ongoing and seasonal United Way programs including our VolunteerNRV volunteering platform, emergency food pantry, Stuff the Bus and holiday assistance. She initially joined the United Way team in 2012 as an AmeriCorps VISTA working on our VolunteerNRV program.
In her spare time Marcela enjoys volunteering with various local organizations, kayaking and lounging by the river, spending time with good company and watching old westerns.

Autumn Waish
Philanthropy and Donor Relations Director 

Autumn is the Philanthropy and Donor Relations Director at United Way. She is responsible for communications with our organizations donors and fundraising. She also works to plan our annual events including Valentines in Vegas and Drive-Thru Breakfast. She received her degree from James Madison University.

When she is not working Autumn enjoys volunteering and reading. She also loves spending time with family and caring for her pets.
